Start influencing the world with positive comments.
Nov 13th, 2009 by viru

How would you feel when a person provides a honest feedback about your mistake (however the tone is)?

How would you feel when someone provides a positive comment about your trait or task (however small it is)?

Negative Feedback: No one likes this even if told politely/gently.

Positive Feedback: All of us like this even if given in a few words (e.g. “Excellent Blog!”).

More and more positive comments you receive from others, the better you will become.  It will help you get a good mood, relax your mind, reduce your anger, reduce your stress, reduce your irritation  and you will become more enthusiastic, productive, creative, sincere & efficient.

When you know that “Positive Comment” will change you in a positive way, then why wait for someone to provide you one?  Start giving it to others. Soon you will receive it from others.

Start influencing the world with positive comments.

PS: Even though a honest negative feedback is bitter & unpleasant,  it is the one which will help and improve you.

Success Formula One: Do not procrastinate.
May 26th, 2009 by viru

After procrastinating for several days, I’m finally writing this article.

If at all you are wondering “What is the ‘Formula Number One’ of successful persons?”, then the answer is nothing but “Do it now, don’t procrastinate”.

A great Tamil poet “Thiruvalluvar” mentions this “Procrastination”(i.e. postponing doing things) as the first thing an unsuccessful person does. In one of his couplets he says, “Procrastination, Forgetfulness, Laziness and Sleep: these four things form the vessel which is desired by those destined to destruction.”

Many times, to start a task, I’ve waited for the clock to strike XX:00 Hrs, then “From tomorrow I’ll start”, then, “From Next week I’ll start”, then, “From Next month I’ll start”,…. and I’m yet to start many such things – only because of this “Procrastination”.

I’m sure many of you may be doing the same thing like this to be unsuccessful in life.

Next question you may have is: “How to get rid of Procrastination?”. The answer is simple. This simple answer is told by another great Tamil poet Barathiar in the first verse of his poem as: “Need self-determination in mind” (“manathil urudhi veendum”).

Please note: there are some benefits of Procrastination. But more than benefits, disadvantages are more.

Do not worry about the past. Do it now and make the most of now.

Stop reading this article, close it and start your tasks NOW to achieve your goal.
